We are a small group of friends from a variety of artistic backgrounds who now live in the English Midlands. Sue and Jane have known each other for years and have both a professional background in graphic design and illustration.Tina is a professional artist and teacher with a deep commitment to the value of drawing. Fiona is an urban sketcher and printmaker. She blogs occasionally here


We met eachother through Tina's inspirational life-drawing classes. Now firm friends, we all lead busy lives, but make an effort to get together regularly for gallery visits, sketching and the occasional lunch. We have great affection and respect for each other. We spend time together and then go home energised, motivated and full of ideas, always having learned something new.

In this blog, we will try to share our work, thoughts and techniques, capturing some of our enthusiasm and  hopefully inspire others along the way.
